A Brief History of the Highway Patrol Group

One tragic day on November 1954, two members of the 3rd Congress of the Philippines met their untimely death in a car accident in Pampanga.

In grief, President Ramon Magsaysay Sr., and first lady Luz Banzon Magsaysay joined the whole nation to mourn the loss of Congressman Gregorio Tan of Samar and Lorenzo P. Ziga of Albay.
